"The" sinner
Jesus tells a story in Mathew18:9 concluding that there are those who say "I'm more holy then others" and those who say "forgive me, the sinner". The truth of God is a light in the darkness, like a seed that grows by itself if the ground is humble and soft. The seed doesn't need any help figuring out it's d.n.a. or where to spread it's roots, and it doesn't need the ground to build roots for it's tree. We try to brighten up the room so the light can come in, but the swearing alcoholic who believes in the seed of truth that God is all powerful is "light in the darkness". The stuck up finger pointing, criticising, judgemental Eviologist is a blob of mud cleaning itself during it's interview with God. During the interview it try to twist God's arm and trick Him into thinking they are very godly. They have received an outstanding level of humility and Godly righteousness and salvation has been there's as well. The Pharisee in the story wanted god to be small and himself not to be the sinner. The tax collector didn't do much to "prove to Jehovah" that he was good. He wanted God to be God though, and to recognize and rightfully need Him. What a heart.
